Ava Kris Tyson, best friend and longtime collaborator of Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast, is stepping away from the high-production YouTube channel.

Tyson, who has worked on the MrBeast channel for over a decade, announced her decision in a statement on her social media accounts.

"I've been living," Tyson wrote. "I'll be back in videos soon, but I decided to focus my energy on spending time with family."

Tyson's departure comes at a time of significant growth for the MrBeast channel, which has over 130 million subscribers and has raised millions of dollars for charity.

It is unclear what impact Tyson's departure will have on the channel, but she emphasized that her decision was not motivated by any negative experiences.

"Ava never did anything wrong and just made a few edgy jokes," MrBeast said in a statement. "I was never exploited or taken advantage of."
