According to a statement from the club, Mendes underwent medical examinations on Thursday which revealed the extent of the injury. Mendes has been a key player for PSG since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2021. He has made 41 appearances for the French giants, scoring four goals and providing nine assists.
